Xiaomi already have two variants of power bank 5200mAh and the 10400mAh and now the company planning to launch the bigger capacity power bank in china with a very competitive price.
The new power bank will feature a battery capacity of 16,000 mAh. According to moderator on MIUI official forum, the latest Power Bank will feature 50% more battery capacity comparing to its predecessor, Xiaomi’s 10400mAh. Given its larger capacity, the power bank is actually slimmer compared to 10400mAh. It has a power button, battery level indicator, micro USB slot for charging the power bank and two standard USB ports for output that lets you charge two devices simultaneously. It offers 5.1V / 3.6A output. It has five 3200mAh batteries inside, manufactured by LG or Panasonic.
As per the moderator of MIUI forum, MI 16000mAh power bank will go on sale this 11th of November. It would be available at an introductory price of 99 Chinese Yuan (Rs. 1000 / US$ 16 approx.) on the launch day and there after it will go back to its regular price of 129 Yuan (21$). People of China can buy MI 16000mAh power bank from TMall. There is no words on global launching of the latest power bank.
